Shaviz Agency LLC is owned and operated by Avinesh Chand (Avi) and his wife Shabina Chand since May of 2022. The couple is originally from Fiji Islands. They have worked with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities since 2007. Avi’s first interaction with individuals with special needs was in New Zealand where he worked as a Direct Care Worker. The couple then moved to Colorado in 2009 and continued to work in the same profession. They have worked in group home settings, day programs, and also as a Host Home Provider with different companies in Colorado until now. The clients that lived with them in their home inspired and motivated them to start their own day program and that’s how the couple started their journey and finally got approved to start their day program.
The day program is located in Brighton, Colorado, and works with several communities.
